Lead structure

Cyano Biotech identify and characterise novel natural products from cyanobacteria and elucidates their structures and bioactivities in order to develop lead structures for the pharma industry. Employing the combinatorial biosynthesis Cyano Biotech aims to optimise the bioactivities of potential lead structures with respect to pharmacological needs. Currently the company is developing two lead structures, a liver transporter, derived from microcystin and an ACE-inhibitor, derived from microginin.
