Isolation and selection of strains
Our technology allows for an efficient isolation of unialgal cultures, even from highly complex cyanobacterial blooms. At this stage usually only about one in three cyanobacterial genera fulfils our criteria for potentially interesting producer strains and is selected for further analyses. Our proprietary system for strain preservation enables a time- and cost-saving preservation of almost all known cyanobacterial strains.
